Our goal has always been to fulfill and nourish the scholar and librarian’s quest for unusual and hard-to-find Judaica. This is a dance we do together. It also involves your choosing to waltz along with us. Perhaps a tome or two will call out to you.
In the tumult and turmoil of the world we inhabit we often lose sight of the simple joy of being immersed even bathed in the wellspring of a book. Books can carry us on far away journeys of insight and exploration and also bring us close to our own interior homes. We so need to take good care and nourish ourselves.

Fromer, who was recognized as an authority on the Talmud translated selections from the Babylonian Talmud; this work is said to reflect his ongoing struggle to reconcile his western identity with his traditional background.
